December 18, 2013 - CCSS MATH Presentation

November 13, 2013 Presentation - Adolescent Content Area Literacy

November 13, 2013 Presentation- 

Bridging Content Area Literacy for ALL Adolescent Students will be presented onWednesday, November 13th with a 12:00 LUNCH and 1-3:00 presentation.  The presentation will explore best practice methods to help develop a deeper understanding of content and utilize formative assessments to guide instruction in Language Arts and Content Area classes.  Educators will leave with a toolbox of instructional strategies to help promote literacy.  This session is aimed at teachers and administrators.  Sign Up by Clicking Here.

Rick Wormeli - January 22nd, 2014

October 16th, 2013 Presentation & November Date Change

September 18, 2013 Session - Breaking Research News, Deconstructing the Assessments & Progress & Priority Insights from Districts across the Country

We are attempting to make membership digital this year and have created a Google Form to aid with this.  Please click on the membership link, below, to submit your intent to join the McHenry County Curriculum Council this year.  There are two options for membership:

• Comprehensive Membership - $175 and includes all lunches/sessions including Rick Wormeli in January.  If you cannot attend a session you can send someone else in your place, but please let me us know when you sign up for the session. 
• Session By Session Membership - $25 for each session you attend.  Please note the Rick Wormeli Session in January will be $100.
